The horse stands on a rounded rectangular plinth. Its legs and tail are depicted in relief on a background wall that connects the plinth and the body of the animal. A separately moulded decorative element appears on the horse’s breast and originally a similar ornament may have adorned its forehead. The figure is hollow and open at the bottom; it was made with the help of a two-part mould.
Found in the surroundings of the lake Nemi.
