Lindsay Kemp is one of the most acknowledged figures of contemporary dance. She was trained by Marcel Marceau. She enriches her choreographic work with experiences in the widest possible media (film, painting, poetry). She participated in Fellini’s and Cassavetes’s films and also shot a film of her own entitled Circus. In 1967 she designed David Bowie’s stage performance.
