CHANGED OPENING HOURS
Extended opening hours in the Munácsy temporary exhibition on weekends:
Saturdays (except 15 March): 9.00-18.45, tickets and admission until 18.00
Sundays: 9.00 -17.45, tickets and admission until 17.00
The above changes do not affect the opening hours of the other exhibitions.

VISIT ON MARCH 15:
On the national holiday, the the admission is free of charge to all exhibitions. Entry to the building is between 10.00-17.00, on a first-come, first-served basis, no priority entry. The exhibitions close at 17.30. The number of visitors to the Munkácsy temporary exhibition is limited: free admission must be registered online in advance – SOLD OUT! Details >>

The building is closed at 18:00.
The Prints and Drawing exhibition hall: can be visited with a ticket to the permanent exhibitions, open only from Thursday to Sunday, closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On every second Friday of each month changed opening hour – next on 14 March 2025.

ADMISSION TICKETS
Tickets can be purchased online and at the on-site ticket office as well, both in advance and at the time of the visit, from separate quotas. Reservations and refunds are not possible.
In the case of temporary exhibitions, the hourly bands refer to the expected time of arrival, the duration of the visit is not limited. Tickets do not include guided tours.

Entry is only possible with a ticket. FREE TICKET is only issued by the ticket office at the time of the visit, with proof of eligibility.
GENERAL SERVICES
- Groups can visit the exhibitions on their own. For more information please click here.
- On-site guided tours may be ordered for groups at least two weeks before the visit, the price is HUF 30.000 / group of max. 18 persons. For more information and booking please write to education@mfab.hu.
- For families adventure kits (suitcase) can be borrowed for 1-3 children to the permanent exhibitions, pricis is HUF 2.000 (plesase check its opening hours).

Backpacks, bags larger than 25 cm high x 30 cm long × 15 cm wide, umbrellas and wet coats are not permitted in the exhibition areas, usual cloakroom and cabinets are available for their placement. Cabinets can only be used with a 100 HUF coin (or 1 EUR), and we cannot provide exchange. A small linen bag can be borrowed for your valuables, with which you can visit the exhibitions. - The museum map in English can be viewed online here.
